Wow..first journal entry on DA..yaaaay!

I occasionally dabble in digital stuff and I sketch a lot but my biggest artsy thing has to be cosplay.
It's awesome to meet other cosplayers on here and someone even recognized me from cosplay.com! That was a surprise! *waves!*
I just thought I would share some things that I have planned for the upcoming year(s)...

1.) Militia Rosette Christopher from "Chrno Crusade" : Yes, I'm a CC whore..LOL I'm doing this one at the request of a friend who also has a Chrno costume AND a Rosette...we're going to switch off for pictures and such.
This one will be first worn at Metrocon in Florida.

2.) Pon-chan from "Petshop of Horrors" : This one..Um..I'm planning to ghetto-ize. *hides* I'm going to try and find a pre-existing dress and modify it for sheer lack of time due to other costumes. I have two friends who have awesome PoH costumes and I wanted one to walk around with them in.
This one will be first worn at Otakon in Baltimore.

3.) Prince Zuko from "Avatar the Last Airbender": Yeah yeah it's not anime. But Zuko is awesome! I'm going to make his Fire Nation uniform. I plan on trying to have it done by Sugoicon in Kentucky buuut if it's not done it'll be worn at Ohayocon in Columbus.

4.) Abel Nightroad from "Trinity Blood": ZOMG..this is going to be the project that I'll probably end up quitting mid-way through. The details on this thing are insane and even attempting it is going to try and force me to up my skill level. The outfit itself isn't that bad...it's all those insane, tiny, METAL details. >_<!! I'm going to start asking around for metal/resin tutorials and try and progress a little further in skill level. There are sooooo many things I want to learn to do! ^_^ I'm planning on taking my sweet time with this one and not making it for any specific convention....if I'm lucky it'll be done by oh, 2008. LOL!!
